Does static electricity cause more hair to fall out?

Lately, whenever I comb my hair, the static is really bad and my hair sticks everywhere, making it look like I'm falling out even more.

Especially when I see even the hair stuck to my clothes, it bothers me for no reason.

I'm not sure if the amount falling out has actually increased or if it just looks that way because it's dry.

Do you have any special methods you use to care for your hair during winter or dry seasons?
