Has anyone seen results from Minoxidil for M-shaped hairline hair loss?

At some point, every time I look in the mirror, the baby hairs along my M-shaped hairline started thinning, and it’s really stressing me out that my forehead looks sparse.

When I went to the hospital, they said I had early symptoms of hair loss and recommended topical minoxidil, oral hair loss medication, or a hairline correction transplant.

However, I am afraid that Minoxidil might cause more hair loss due to the shedding phenomenon in the early stages, and it is difficult to readily decide on a hair transplant due to the cost and survival rate.
