Is hair loss prevention care at a hair salon effective for hair loss?

Yesterday, I was too lazy to go to my regular salon, so I got my hair dyed at a place near my house. The owner told me that the back of my hair is fine, but hair loss has started in my front, so I should get hair loss prevention care.

I'm not the type to get easily swayed, so I just got my hair dyed and left, but lately, I find myself sighing whenever I see a handful of hair falling out every time I wash it. Have you ever tried hair loss prevention care at a salon? I'm curious if it is effective for hair loss, just as the salon owner mentioned.
