Please share your experience visiting the gynecology and obstetrics department due to hematuria and sharp pain.
I had a urinalysis and various other tests done. It was a bit uncomfortable during the tests, but finding the cause was important, so I endured it. I also underwent some examinations... The doctor said that in my case, the cause was a bladder infection and a small stone.
They say the most important thing is lifestyle habits.
So I completely changed. I didn't drink much water before, you know? I was busy and lazy to go to the bathroom... But now I carry a tumbler and make sure to drink at least 8 glasses a day. At first, it was inconvenient because I had to go to the bathroom often, but now it has become a habit, so it's okay.
If you don't want to carry a tumbler because of its volume, consider this foldable one that has become popular lately.
And I also reduced my coffee intake significantly. I used to drink 3-4 cups of coffee a day, but now I only have one cup in the morning. Or I drink decaffeinated coffee instead!
I try not to drink alcohol as much as possible... I used to like spicy food, but now I avoid刺激ating foods.
The hardest thing at work was frequently going to the bathroom. I wanted to go even during meetings... So I honestly told my boss and colleagues, and everyone understood. I was also a bit worried about long business trips, but by checking the bathroom locations in advance and adjusting my water intake, it was okay.
I think stress management is really important. In the past, I would just endure work stress, but now I take walks after work and listen to my favorite music to soothe my mind. I also started meditating, and it has been very helpful.
Sometimes I feel sad that I can't drink when I go out drinking with friends... ㅠㅠ
Because health is more important. Instead, I changed it to a gathering where we drink tea. At first, I felt uncomfortable because I thought I was being overly particular, but now I do it with the mindset of "I'd rather sit in this chair..."
If you have similar symptoms, be sure to visit the hospital and try to improve your lifestyle habits. It may take some time, but don't give up and keep managing consistently; things will definitely get better!
