A urinary tract infection (UTI) is an infection caused by bacteria or disease that invades the tubes that carry urine out of the body. Bacteria can also invade and multiply in the bladder or kidneys.

The most common type is cystitis, and the more serious form is pyelonephritis. Urinary tract infections are more dangerous for women, as their urethras are shorter than those of men, making them more susceptible to infection. Based on information from the British daily Guardian and other sources, we explored ways to prevent urinary tract infections in women.

“Drink plenty of water and excrete properly.” Drink plenty of water from morning to night. Also, go to the bathroom regularly. Holding urine for long periods increases the opportunity for bacteria to multiply. It's important to empty your bladder thoroughly.

“If you have these symptoms, you need to get checked out.” If you experience symptoms like frequent bathroom visits or pain when urinating, you should see a doctor immediately. This is especially true if the condition reoccurs. Testing is needed to determine whether the cause is tissue abnormality, decreased bladder function, or a weakened immune system.

"process direction" If you have a habit of wiping from back to front after urinating, you need to change it immediately. This is because you are transferring bacteria from stool into your urinary tract with your own hands. Always wipe from front to back.

“You need to be more careful after middle age.” Estrogen plays a role in preventing urinary tract infections through various mechanisms. Therefore, postmenstrual women are more susceptible to urinary tract infections. Older women should refer to studies showing that topical vaginal estrogen is effective in reducing urinary tract infections in postmenopausal women.

“Eat cranberries” Although their efficacy hasn't been fully verified, cranberries contain proanthocyanidins, which are known to prevent bacteria from sticking to the bladder. However, they must be consumed whole, as cranberry juice contains far more sugar and additives than any of the actual beneficial ingredients.

==============

Are cranberries good~~

Although it is not a complete verification,

Berries are always good for antioxidants.

In the hospital, they said drinking water was the best.

Sam said so.

Drink 2 liters a day lol

I need to recharge my moisture today too.
