My mother's health checkup results suggested a retinal abnormality, so I researched ophthalmologists in Changwon. Apparently, there aren't many doctors who treat retinas. I tried to go to Samsung Hospital, the only tertiary hospital in Changwon, but the retina specialist left in December of last year, and the position is still vacant. I'm acutely aware of the local medical gap.

I heard that Changwon Gyeongsang National University Hospital also has a reservation for a month later, so I made a reservation at Fatima, which was the only one available, and just in case, I also made a reservation at Busan Kosin University Hospital.

Fortunately, it wasn't a serious illness, so we didn't have to go to Kosin University Hospital. Since we can't find a doctor even at higher-level hospitals, we have no choice but to go to Busan or Seoul when we're sick. It's a little sad.
