지푸라기에 긁혀서 상처가 생겼나보네요 봄안과의원 후기 잘 봤어요
This is a review of a comfortable medical consultation at Gumi Bom Ophthalmology Clinic.
I was visiting my parents' house and stopped by the vegetable garden to harvest crops when my daughter started crying, saying her eyes hurt.
When I looked closely, I saw that the whites of his eyes had turned red because he had put something like straw in them while playing with his younger sibling.
It was the eyeball, near the forehead, so even when I told the crying child to stop and open their eyes, they didn't stop easily.
So, first, I rinsed it with clean water. Then I checked the pupil area, and that part seemed fine.
It was Sunday and I needed emergency medical care, but even when I tried to go to a nearby ophthalmology clinic, they had already closed for the morning session.
So, we decided to monitor the situation until Monday.
Fortunately, there was only a little eye discharge, and after a day, the redness seemed to have subsided a bit.
After that, I did an "open run" to Gumi Bom Ophthalmology Clinic, where I always go. It was Monday morning, and since the wait is always long unless it is morning, I hurried there early.
As expected, a kind nurse was at the front desk. Since I registered here using the Gooddoc app, and my eldest child is already attending, I registered as a family member, making the registration process easy through the app. It was raining and the parking lot was crowded, so I arrived a little after 9 a.m., but fortunately, I was within the top 10. Many friends undergoing vision correction were ahead of me for their regular checkups, so I had my vision tests done in between them before seeing the doctor.
Perhaps because it was the first visit, they examined my child's eyesight very thoroughly. Since my child isn't yet familiar with the Korean alphabet and is also quite timid, the eye exam took a bit longer than expected. However, the nurses were so kind that it put my mind at ease; I was actually feeling nervous myself. Thanks to their help, we were able to see the doctor after the exam was finished. The redness on the eyeball turned out to be an abrasion, like a scratch on the skin. Fortunately, they said it would heal within a week with eye drops, which reassured me. Just as they said, it completely healed after about three days.
Besides that, I have pre-existing astigmatism and poor eyesight, so I also had a consultation and asked some questions. They explained everything thoroughly, so it is a place I always visit with peace of mind. Although there are many famous ophthalmology clinics in Gumi, I felt confident in this place because the director is calm and advised us to try to manage with our own eyes as much as possible before attempting treatment, rather than rushing into medical intervention. They also tailored their advice to the situation to make it less difficult for the children. That is why, even though it is in a different neighborhood, I make a point of visiting this clinic.
