I have been under a lot of stress lately because I have suddenly been getting constant breakouts on my face. My skin isn't usually very sensitive, but redness and tiny bumps kept appearing on my chin and cheeks. At first, I tried to manage it at home focusing on soothing, but it didn't subside as easily as I expected, so I eventually ended up visiting a dermatologist.
The hospital thoroughly checked my skin condition recently and also asked about my recent lifestyle habits and the products I use. They mentioned that wearing masks, lack of sleep, and stress could also be having an impact. In particular, I felt that not getting enough sleep and having a few days where I couldn't properly remove my makeup were contributing factors.
I had a simple extraction and soothing treatment done together, and it was less irritating than I expected, so I didn't feel any burden. There was a little redness after the procedure, but it gradually subsided over time, and most importantly, I was relieved that the breakouts didn't spread further. At home, I am taking care of my skin by paying attention to cleansing and avoiding irritating products as much as possible. It hasn't fully recovered yet, but since visiting the clinic, I definitely feel like my condition is stabilizing, so I realized the importance of consistent care. It seems that once skin breaks down, it takes time to recover, so I decided that I need to pay even more attention to it going forward.
