Review of surgery at Dongin Surgical Hospital

I had pain in my lower right abdomen and initially thought it was enteritis, but due to the persistent pain, I went to the radiology department. A CT scan of my abdomen revealed appendicitis, and I underwent emergency surgery that same day. The reason I went to Dongin Surgical Hospital was because it was a collaborating hospital with the internal medicine clinic I had been visiting for abdominal pain; I took a taxi there with my referral letter for a consultation. Fortunately, the hospital confirmed the need for emergency surgery after the examination, allowing me to undergo the procedure without further delay. Timing is critical for appendicitis, as delays can lead to peritonitis, so I was relieved that the surgery was performed quickly. I was hospitalized in a private room, and during my inpatient treatment, the surgical site was disinfected daily, and I received antibiotic treatment diligently. However, the antibiotics were strong, causing me to suffer from persistent nausea, but the medical staff provided kind care, which was very helpful. Although the hospital is somewhat dated, it is a renowned surgical hospital specializing in appendicitis, so I trusted them and had a successful surgery. Thanks to my private health insurance, I was reimbursed for almost all of the surgery costs.
