No matter how often I go to the dentist, things always turn out to be more complicated than I anticipated. This time was no exception; things got way bigger than I thought, so I’ll have to keep going for a long time. It’s depressing, haha.
I first found out about Yonsei Central Dental Clinic because I needed to urgently extract a wisdom tooth, and an acquaintance told me that their friend went there and made an appointment for me. At that time, the wisdom tooth extraction went very smoothly. When I had my wisdom tooth extracted at a dental clinic in the city, it cost over 100,000 won, but here, the cost was just for basic treatment, so I really liked it. I came back here based on that memory, even though it's been a long time, and I think the pros and cons are clearly visible.
First of all, I think the advantages are that the treatment process is a bit flexible and they are kind. The fact that you can get treatment without an appointment seems like a good thing for emergencies as well. The downside is... well, the explanations and communication are a bit lacking? It feels like things added during treatment aren't conveyed very well. Actually, it’s not just the treatment itself, but dental care can get really expensive if things get complicated, so it’s a huge burden.
