My experience getting an IV at Bumin Internal Medicine Clinic felt like an extension of my recovery from fatigue. The moment the needle was inserted into my arm was slightly painful, but soon, as the warm liquid seeped into my body, I felt like little firecrackers were exploding under my skin. The nurse cheerfully checked my condition, and I lay down, gazing out the window at the shadows of the trees. Before I knew it, I'd reached my target dose! Usually, I'd complain about the difficulty, but with just one IV, I felt a strange sense of "reboot" in my body. Next time, I want to relax and read a book while getting the IV. It felt like my body was recovering, albeit briefly, amidst my busy schedule. Good.
