What I was worried about regarding the root canal retreatment at Nine Dental Clinic was the risk of extraction.

I have a tooth that was crowned with gold after receiving a root canal 15 years ago.
I have been experiencing pain for a month, and it gets worse when I eat hot food, so I visited Nine Dental Clinic for an examination.
The diagnosis was that the primary root canal treatment was not completed perfectly and there is inflammation at the root tip.

I received retreatment of the root canal after the director advised that I should attempt it because leaving it untreated would cause the inflammation to spread and lead to extraction. My biggest concern was the explanation that there is a risk of extraction if the treatment fails.

Fortunately, the retreatment went well, so after filling the root canal, it was completely sealed and covered with a crown.

It is said that there was no internal tooth infection because there were no secondary cavities.

It is best to get regular dental checkups before you start feeling pain. I will also make sure to go for my regular checkups from now on.
