I recently visited a dental clinic because of a toothache. The doctor told me that I needed to have a wisdom tooth located in the maxillary sinus extracted, so I proceeded with the procedure. Fortunately, my attending physician, Dr. Kim Young-jun, said that the tooth was not deeply embedded in the gums and could be extracted simply. As a result, the extraction was performed relatively easily without any incisions, shortly after the anesthesia was administered. After the extraction, I was prescribed a three-day supply of antibiotics and painkillers. I made an appointment for around 3 PM a week later, returned home, took the prescribed medication, and rested. Since the extraction finished relatively quickly, I didn't experience much pain, and I appreciated that my doctor kindly explained my dental condition.
