Gang Internal Medicine Clinic in Namyangju, Review of 8 Years of Blood Pressure Management

It has already been 8 years since I first started visiting an internal medicine clinic for my blood pressure. I began taking medication due to a sudden spike in blood pressure, and additional medication was added as I developed hyperlipidemia upon entering menopause. I continue to take my medication consistently and get occasional checkups at the clinic near my home that I have always visited. They say it will be fine if I manage it, so I am taking my medication properly and visiting regularly to prevent my condition from worsening!

To be honest, sometimes it is a hassle to go for checkups and get my medication. It’s not like I go often, but it feels like the time is coming sooner than I think. I wonder if I really need to take it at this point, but I tell myself that consistent management is necessary to stay healthy, so I’m diligently taking my medication and getting my checkups. I hope the day never comes when I have to add another medication. Let's keep fighting!
