For the past few days, I've been feeling chills and achy all over. I thought it was just fatigue, but I've been getting headaches and a runny nose. The body aches have lingered, making it difficult to ignore, so I went to the Department of Family Medicine. During my appointment, the doctor asked me in detail about when my symptoms started and my current condition, and checked my temperature and throat. Fortunately, he explained that it didn't seem to be a serious infection like the flu, but rather a common cold. He told me not to overdo it, to get plenty of rest, and to take my medication, and I should feel better within a few days. I took the prescribed medication, drank plenty of warm water, and rested. After a day or two, I felt much lighter. My muscle pain also significantly decreased. It seems that treating a cold early definitely speeds recovery. The weather has been so unpredictable lately that it's easy to catch a cold. If you feel even a little unwell, I think the most important thing is to rest and not overdo it.
