The Mirena procedure was performed under general anesthesia, and honestly, it was more painful than I expected, which made it quite difficult. The medical staff, seeing my pain, constantly checked on me and encouraged me to lie down and rest until I felt better, which I appreciated. They even gave me additional pain medication, which was impressive for their continued care. While the procedure itself was challenging, overall, I felt like they were a hospital I could trust.
