Visited Lee Bong-gu Dermatology Clinic in Sunae-dong for a consultation regarding syringomas..
I... was pregnant with my second child... and one day I saw...
I was getting milia around my eyes... I mean, on my eyelids and under my eyes.
I looked in the mirror and noticed something on both of my temples. It was a bit bigger than the ones near my eyes, so I was worried it might be milia that had spread. Since it was bothering me, I visited a local dermatology clinic. Lee Bong-gu Dermatology, located next to Park Town in Sunae-dong, is one of the few clinics in Bundang that doesn't over-treat. I have been going there for nearly 20 years now, so I went with confidence, but the director told me that it couldn't be removed. I was shocked and asked him about it, and he explained that it is actually syringoma, which is different from milia.
My skin... it's not keloid... but for some reason...
Not only do I get bitten by mosquitoes, but whenever I get a cut, it usually leaves a scar.
Having been married for over 20 years, I have visited several times—both for burns and for other skin issues—so perhaps because they know my skin condition, they just told me that and left it at that. They said treatment is possible, but honestly, it usually just recurs, so they advised against it.
I left the hospital feeling dejected, but honestly... since there are so many dermatology clinics these days that only focus on skin care... I returned home thinking that it's better not to touch it, given that the doctor said it based on his knowledge of my skin condition, rather than blindly giving a quote and starting a procedure.
Please note that we are closed on Thursdays.
It's a small hospital, but... the wait is always long. Please make an appointment by phone before you go. (I can still wait, though..)
