(Concern) Has anyone undergone laser treatment for retinal detachment?

My younger sibling went for glaucoma testing and found out that they have retinal detachment in both eyes.

The doctor said I need to undergo a laser procedure. However, I keep delaying the procedure because I'm worried it might be risky. I'm just looking for ways to treat it naturally.

Please let me know if anyone who has undergone laser treatment for retinal detachment has any information about the procedure duration, side effects afterward, or precautions to take.

Should I go to a famous hospital? Or am I wondering if I should go to a university hospital? Also, please tell me if there are any helpful things to prevent recurrence after laser treatment.
