에공 제 친구도 보니 녹내장이 유전이라 걱정하더라구요 실명으로까지 이어지니 병이라 후덜덜 하네요ㅠㅠ
Hello, I have been worried and concerned about my health since I was young because I haven't been very healthy.
I started taking medication for epilepsy when I was young, and in my twenties, I was diagnosed with acute glaucoma by an ophthalmologist. Now, one of my eyes is almost completely blind.
Since I found out I have glaucoma, I've tried almost everything that is said to be good—like blueberries, cassia seeds, and eye supplements. When I talk to others, I hear that taking supplements doesn't really help, so these days I don't take them much anymore.
My biggest concern right now is that I am living with only one remaining eye, and since glaucoma is a disease that cannot be cured and must be managed continuously, I worry that as my vision gradually deteriorates, I might lose the ability to use both eyes.
Since the work I am doing now involves using a computer, my eyes are tired and I feel exhausted.
So, I am curious if there are any effective home management methods to provide proper rest for the eyes and control intraocular pressure.
My family has a history of glaucoma, so my dad, sister, and mother all have it.
My sister hasn't developed glaucoma yet, but since there's a possibility of progression, I'm even more worried.
I'm also very worried that if I have children, it might be inherited.
