Floaters

I think I saw a post asking about floaters occasionally, so I will share my experience.

I also experienced a phenomenon where something like a floaters appeared and disappeared in my eyes, so I was very worried. When I asked people around me, they told me it was called vitreous floaters and dismissed it as not a big deal.

I went to the ophthalmology clinic to get an accurate diagnosis while feeling a bit reassured.

I was in the pre-rupture stage of retinal detachment, with the retina becoming very thin, which caused floaters. As a preventive measure, I was advised to undergo laser treatment, so I went to a large hospital and had the laser procedure. It was a simple treatment that took less than five minutes and involved a couple of laser shots, but since neglecting it could lead to a retinal tear and detachment, I took the necessary precautions.

Floaters themselves are not a major issue, but since there are various reasons why they can occur, I recommend not taking it lightly and definitely getting a detailed eye examination.
