When administering eye drops for a retinal exam, the nurse disinfects her hands and puts on gloves. She also places a sticker on the eye to avoid confusion between the treated and untreated eye. Unlike other hospitals, where I had to administer the drops twice due to confusion during a retinal exam, the nurse's meticulousness stands out. Furthermore, the doctor asks detailed questions about past injuries and treatment experiences at other hospitals. This demonstrates the meticulous care and dedication they put into examining each patient.

It is very difficult to examine the retina due to the light, but every time that happens, they say kind words to calm my mind, such as, "You did a good job" or "It's almost over."

 

-After the examination, we will steam you with an infrared lamp and provide detailed information on the next treatment date.

There are many places that just tell you to leave after the treatment, but here, they give you a warm eye compress for about 3 minutes.
