What is the best way to treat entropion, where the eyelashes poke the eye?

I have a few straight lines in the center of my lower eyelashes that often poke my eyes. I've had this since I was little.

The weather has been dry lately, so my eyes have become dry as well, and my eyelashes have been poking my eyes a lot.

So my eyes are really itchy and even though I try not to touch them, there are times when I unconsciously rub them.

My eyes have been bloodshot and I have had eye discharge often since a long time ago. Since entropion easily causes inflammation, I often get styes and my eyelashes poke my cornea, so I often get conjunctivitis.

The ophthalmologist said that I have entropion and am prone to eye diseases.

Using artificial tears may help for a while, but it doesn't seem to be a fundamental solution.

People tell me to pluck my eyelashes, and at first I did, but I felt like if I plucked them, the eyelashes wouldn't grow back in that spot, and it seemed pointless because it would just prick the other eyelashes next to them, so I don't pluck them anymore.

Can entropion be managed with non-surgical treatment?

Or is surgery ultimately the most definitive option?

I'm also curious about whether there is a chance of recurrence after surgery and how long the recovery period is.

I'm worried that if I just leave it alone, it could cause a scratch on my cornea.

I already had LASIK surgery on my eyes.

And I'm even more worried because if you already have entropion, you may also experience other symptoms of entropion, such as drooping eyelids, as you get older.
