Does Density also consider skin thickness important?

I thought that the decision to get the procedure was made based solely on face shape or fat volume, but
I saw that it is also important whether your skin is on the thicker side or thinner.

I'm wondering if the approach can vary depending on the skin condition, even for the same area.
