On November 24, 2025, I visited Wooritten Internal Medicine, located near my apartment, to receive a checkup and prescription for diabetes, high blood pressure, and hyperlipidemia. This hospital was the first internal medicine clinic to open in a new city eight years ago. My attending physician is Dr. Kim Min-ju, a female doctor. I'm probably one of the top ten patients this hospital has treated since its opening. The doctors are friendly and the nurses are so helpful that I've only ever received treatment at Wooritten Internal Medicine.
A while ago, my wife and I had a comprehensive checkup at a comprehensive health center in Seoul. We didn't get to see the doctor and hear his opinion, but instead, we received only the results. I was frustrated by the technical terms I couldn't understand.
I had to go for a diabetes checkup, so I took the comprehensive checkup form with me and showed it to Dr. Kim Min-ju.
Despite being busy, he took his time looking at my wife and I's comprehensive physical examination results and explained them one by one.
I almost passed it by, but the teacher touched my heart
He told me to go to the university hospital quickly because there was a problem.
Thanks to that, I made a reservation at a university hospital and even had a heart test and procedure.
It went well. Thanks to Wooritten Internal Medicine, I was able to successfully treat a situation that could have been a major one.
