A review of preventing constipation by improving eating and lifestyle habits

I had irregular meals and was stressed, which led to severe constipation. Constipation also affected my blood circulation and lowered my quality of life. To address and prevent constipation, I changed my eating and lifestyle habits. Now, I'm able to apply makeup without any constipation, which is satisfying.

First, to prevent constipation, I prioritized drinking plenty of water. I used to be a water drinker, but I tried to drink at least two liters of water a day. I also drank a glass of water as soon as I woke up in the morning to stimulate bowel movements and make trips to the bathroom.

Second, I maintained healthy eating habits to prevent constipation. Breakfast plays an important role in waking up the intestines, so I ate at least a little bit, and I kept my meal times regular. I ate vegetables rich in dietary fiber, such as broccoli and cabbage, every day, and ate whole grains, such as brown rice and oats. I also frequently ate seaweed, such as seaweed, to prevent constipation.

Third, to prevent constipation, I did stretching every day and did abdominal massage to stimulate the abdomen in the morning and evening. While lying on my back, I massaged my belly button in a clockwise circle with my palm for more than 10 minutes, focusing on any stiff areas. Also, during yoga movements, I did the quadruped pose, inhaled, lowered my waist, raised my head, and did the cow pose, or exhaled, rounded my back and did the cat pose. I repeated this more than 10 times. Personally, I found abdominal massage and stretching before bed to be the most effective in preventing constipation.

Fourth, to prevent constipation, I consistently took nutritional supplements that contain ingredients that promote bowel movement and improve the intestinal environment. Basically, I took Lactofit Gold Probiotics, which increases lactic acid bacteria and intestinal beneficial bacteria to improve bowel movement, and I took Daejangsarang Original Psyllium Husk Dietary Fiber, which absorbs water to make stools bloated and soft. It was definitely good because I was able to go to the bathroom well and it was effective in preventing constipation because I took it consistently every day.
