I was hesitant about fillers because of the foreign body sensation, but isn't there really nothing better than fillers for adding volume?
As I get older, losing weight in my face definitely makes my overall impression look tired and significantly older, which is really stressful ㅠㅠ. I am particularly bothered by the sunken areas on my cheeks and nasolabial folds every time I look at them, so I am currently looking into volume care.
To be honest, I’ve always felt strongly that fillers involve injecting foreign substances into the skin, so I was somewhat avoiding them for fear of them clumping or deforming. However, when I actually started looking to fill in the sunken areas, I found many reviews stating that while skin boosters or elasticity lasers help with overall firmness, they have limitations when it comes to providing an immediate, plump volume boost.
Since so many people say there is no procedure quite like fillers for dramatically filling in sunken areas and enhancing facial contours, I find myself seriously reconsidering it.
Has anyone else actually tried fillers after hesitating like me due to concerns about a foreign body sensation or side effects? I'm curious if you really feel a lot of foreign body sensation when making facial expressions or touching the skin after the procedure, or if the difference in formulation between domestic and imported products allows for natural coverage!
Also, besides fillers, I would appreciate honest advice from those with experience on whether there are any other recommended procedures or treatments that can add volume naturally.
