What do you all think is a reasonable price range for beauty devices?

I've recently become interested in home care, so I'm looking into buying a beauty device. However, now that I'm actually searching to purchase one, the prices vary so widely that it's really hard to make a decision right away.

There really is a wide variety of products, ranging from affordable vibrating cleansers or basic galvanic devices costing around 100,000 won, to high-frequency/EMS lifting devices in the 300,000 to 500,000 won range that are trending on Instagram and YouTube these days, and even professional laser/LED mask devices that easily exceed 1 million won.

Ideally, I would like to buy an expensive premium device with proven efficacy and good reviews, but I am very worried that if I actually buy it, I will just end up putting it away in a drawer and neglecting it because it is too much of a hassle. I have seen quite a few reviews from people around me saying they used it a few times and then listed it on Carrot Market. On the other hand, I am also concerned that if I buy a very cheap entry-level device, the effect might be so minimal that I end up making a double expenditure.

What do you all think is the appropriate price range for a first-time beauty device purchase or for daily care that is affordable yet effective? Is the 200,000 to 300,000 won range the safest choice, or is it better to go for a high-end product right from the start? I would appreciate your honest opinions and advice as actual users!
