Is it better to get blemish treatments in the winter?
I am looking into laser treatment because I am concerned about blemishes around my cheeks, and I am wondering if the season is important. People around me say that it is better to get blemish treatment in the winter when the UV rays are not strong, but is there really a specific best time for the procedure depending on the season?
I tend to be quite active outdoors, so I get a lot of sun exposure in the summer, while I go out relatively less in the winter. That is why I am considering starting treatment in the winter if possible. I am also wondering if winter is necessarily a more suitable time for pigmentation treatments.
I have also heard that the dry weather in winter can make the skin drier or more sensitive after laser treatment. Considering these factors, are there cases where other seasons might actually be better? I would also like to know if individual skin condition or lifestyle habits are more important than the season.
Those who have actually received laser treatment for blemishes In which season did you receive the procedure, and were there any advantages or disadvantages to managing it depending on the season? I am curious. If I am starting treatment for the first time, would it be better to do it in the winter? Please share your experience.
