Is it possible to suddenly have this many flat warts on your face?

I used to think nothing of it since there were only a few, but lately when I look closely in the mirror, I notice small bumps popping up all over my face.

I am particularly bothered by the areas around my eyes and cheeks, and they keep showing up even when I apply makeup. I looked it up and found that it could be flat warts, so I am considering getting a consultation at a dermatology clinic. I am curious to know what treatment you received if you have had flat warts removed, and whether the scarring or pigmentation was okay.
