This medication is primarily used to adequately manage LDL cholesterol levels in adults at high risk for coronary artery disease. It is especially effective for patients with mixed dyslipidemia, where triglyceride levels are not adequately controlled by monotherapy with rosuvastatin. This medication can improve abnormal blood lipid levels and reduce the risk of cardiovascular complications. Hence, it is useful in the treatment of dyslipidemia.
