This medication helps relieve fever and pain caused by colds, headache, neuralgia, muscle pain, menstrual pain, and sprain pain. It is also effective for various pain symptoms such as toothache, joint pain, and rheumatic pain. Therefore, this medicine is used to improve several types of pain and fever.
Children under 12 years old: administer the following recommended dose every 4-6 hours as needed. This medication should be taken at the minimum effective dosage for the shortest duration possible, and should not exceed 5 doses per day (75 mg/kg).
This medication can exert stress on the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Additionally, if any severe skin rash, blistering, or allergic reaction symptoms appear during treatment, discontinue use immediately and consult with healthcare professionals. This medication contains acetaminophen, hence it is important to ensure that the maximum daily dose of 4,000 mg is not exceeded, and it should not be taken in conjunction with other products containing acetaminophen. Those with hypersensitivity, peptic ulcer, severe liver or kidney disease, heart failure, or a history of aspirin-induced asthma should avoid this medication. Furthermore, individuals currently on certain medications or consuming alcohol should also refrain from using this drug. Individuals with liver or kidney disease, blood disorders, heart function problems, asthma, elderly patients, children (especially under 2 years old), pregnant or breastfeeding individuals, and those taking warfarin long-term should consult a healthcare professional before use. If any unusual symptoms such as sudden respiratory distress, facial flushing, hives, severe nausea, vomiting, skin rash, or bleeding occur during use, discontinue immediately and visit a hospital. Regular blood tests and liver function tests are important for those taking this medication long-term to monitor for any abnormalities. If pain or fever persists or worsens, do not use for more than 10 days (for adults) and consult a healthcare professional. It is advisable to avoid concomitant use of this medication with other NSAIDs, and appropriate treatment should be administered under medical guidance in case of infections. In case of overdose, even if symptoms are absent, it is crucial to visit a hospital for appropriate treatment, and medications to protect the liver may be administered. Finally, keep this medication out of the reach of children, and store it in its original container with the lid tightly closed.
