Amrojet Tablet 5/10/10 Milligrams (Amlodipine, Rosuvastatin, Ezetimibe)

Adult dose

This medication is taken once daily, with one tablet to be taken with water regardless of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time each day (e.g., in the morning). As Amlodipine, take 5 mg orally once daily, and dosage can be increased to a maximum of 10 mg daily based on the patient's response. The Ezetimibe/Rosuvastatin combination should be taken once daily and may be administered regardless of meals. For primary hypercholesterolemia, the starting dose is 10 mg taken once daily.

This medication may pose a risk of muscle complications; therefore, immediate consultation with a doctor is necessary if symptoms of muscle pain or weakness occur. This medication should not be used in patients with severe liver dysfunction or active liver disease. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, and those who are breastfeeding, should not take this medication. Patients with severely impaired kidney function should not be administered this medication, while those with mildly impaired kidney function should be treated with caution. This medication should be avoided in patients with certain genetic disorders or those with a history of muscle diseases. The risk of muscle adverse reactions may increase when this medication is used in conjunction with other statins or fibrate drugs, requiring caution. In elderly patients, the risk of myopathy is higher, thus careful observation is needed. Patients taking this medication should undergo regular liver function and blood tests, and report any abnormal symptoms to their healthcare provider immediately. This medication can lower blood pressure, so caution is advised for patients with hypotension, and treatment should be stopped immediately if acute severe myopathy or rhabdomyolysis is suspected. This medication should not be administered to patients with hypersensitivity to specific components, and individuals with lactose intolerance should not take it. As this medication can interact with other drugs, it is imperative to inform healthcare providers about any medications currently being taken. Patients should avoid excessive alcohol consumption while taking this medication and strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration. Caution is warranted while driving or operating machinery, as symptoms such as dizziness may occur.

Serious side effects

Hives, severe swelling (edema), difficulty breathing, severe allergic reaction, severe skin adverse reactions (Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis, erythema multiforme, drug reaction with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms), chest tightness, jaundice, liver abnormalities, sudden and severe headache, thunderclap headache, seizures, confusion, visual disturbances, paralysis, severe neurological symptoms, markedly reduced urine output, serious complications
