This medication is used to relieve symptoms associated with constipation, such as loss of appetite, abdominal distension, abnormal fermentation in the intestine, and hemorrhoids, by improving constipation.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults aged 15 and above: 1 packet (4.2g) per dose Administer the above amount 2 times a day, preferably on an empty stomach. The dosing interval should be at least 4 hours. Start with the minimum dose and gradually increase or decrease based on the shape and condition of the stool.

Child dose

Ages 11 to under 15: 2/3 packet per dose Ages 7 to under 11: 1/2 packet per dose Ages 3 to under 7: 1/3 packet per dose Administer the above dosages 2 times a day.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals with acute abdominal conditions or intestinal obstruction, as well as children under 3 years of age. During the course of using this medication, care should be taken not to take antacids or milk within 1 hour of taking this medication. Individuals experiencing severe abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, those with hypertension or heart or kidney disorders, individuals with edema, women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, those taking other medications, and individuals with allergic predispositions should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If abdominal discomfort or cramps occur, or if symptoms do not improve after several days of taking the medication or if constipation persists for over a week, discontinue use and consult a professional. This medication must be taken strictly according to the prescribed dosage and administration, and when given to children, the supervision of a guardian is required. Long-term use should be avoided, and using it for more than a week may lead to drug tolerance and worsening constipation, so if daily use of a laxative is necessary, the underlying cause should be identified. While storing, keep out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store in a cool, dry place in a sealed container. Moreover, to prevent misuse and maintain the quality of the medication, it is important not to transfer it to another container.
