Prolonged use may lead to hypercalcemia or stone formation, so caution is needed, especially when used with certain diuretics, as there is a risk of hyperkalemia. Adhere to the prescribed dosage, and caregivers should guide and supervise when administering it to children. It is recommended to avoid drinking tannin-containing teas like green tea or black tea before and after taking this medication.
