Precautions

This medicine is made from ginkgo leaf extract, and those allergic to specific components should not take it. There is insufficient research on safety for children and adolescents, so it should not be used by those under 18 years old. Pregnant women are also advised not to take this medication. Additionally, as it contains lactose, those with lactose intolerance or certain genetic metabolic disorders should avoid taking it. When taking this medication, caution is needed as it may enhance the effects of anticoagulants. It may affect the metabolism of other medications, so careful monitoring and dosage adjustment are needed when used with some antihypertensives or asthma medications. People taking medications that pose a risk of bleeding or can induce bleeding should consult a physician, as should nursing mothers. This medication may worsen seizures in patients with epilepsy, so consultation is required before use. If scheduled for surgery, it should be discontinued at least 36 hours prior, and if symptoms do not improve, consult a physician. If symptoms such as nausea, headache, insomnia, or skin rash occur during use, immediate consultation with a professional is necessary. This medication is not an antihypertensive, so patients with hypertension require separate treatment. Finally, it should be kept out of reach of children, and the medication should be stored in its original container for safe use.
