This medication is used for patients who need to take both amlodipine and ezetimibe/atorvastatin combination therapy. Firstly, amlodipine is effective in treating myocardial ischemia caused by stable and variant angina due to hypertension and fixed coronary artery occlusion or vasoconstriction. It also helps reduce the risk of hospitalization and risks related to vascular procedures in patients with coronary heart disease due to angina. The ezetimibe/atorvastatin combination is used as an adjunct to diet to lower total cholesterol, LDL, ApoB, triglycerides, and non-HDL cholesterol levels while raising HDL cholesterol levels in patients with primary and familial dyslipidemia. In patients with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia, it is useful in reducing total and LDL cholesterol levels, either in conjunction with other therapies or as an alternative. Thus, this medication is effectively used in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases and dyslipidemia.
