This medication is used to relieve symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, tearing, sore throat, and heaviness in the head caused by acute rhinitis, allergic rhinitis, and sinusitis.

How to take

Adult dose

Aged 15 and older and adults: 1 capsule at a time, 3 times a day, taken after meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by infants under 3 months old. People who have had allergic reactions to this drug or its components should not use it. Those taking certain antidepressants or psychiatric medications, known as MAO inhibitors, or who have stopped taking them within the last two weeks should not take this medication. While taking this medication, it is advisable not to take other oral medications for rhinitis, cold medications containing antihistamines, cough suppressants, motion sickness medications, or allergy medications. Individuals with allergic conditions such as hives, dermatitis, migraines, or food allergies, or those who have previously experienced allergic reactions to medications should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. It is also necessary for individuals with heart disease, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, or those who are weak or have high fever to consult an expert. Elderly individuals and those currently receiving treatment should also consult before taking this medication. Furthermore, individuals who have a persistent cough or excessive phlegm due to smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema, as well as those with fever, rash, or persistent headache, should consult an expert. If symptoms such as hemorrhagic stroke, nausea, severe thirst, constipation, loss of appetite, rash, itching, difficulty urinating, headache, facial flushing, or being light-sensitive occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor. In cases of severe allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis, emergency treatment should be sought immediately. It is important to consult a specialist if symptoms do not improve after taking the medication 5 to 6 times. Children under the age of 2 years should generally not take this medication, and if necessary, they must be evaluated by a doctor. This medication should be taken according to the prescribed dosage and duration, and long-term use should be avoided. Drowsiness may occur during use, so avoid driving or operating machinery; alcohol should also be avoided. When storing this medication, keep it out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store in a cool, dry place in a tightly sealed container. It is also important not to transfer it to another container to ensure quality maintenance.
