Used to relieve various symptoms of cold such as runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

For individuals aged 15 years and older: Take 2 capsules per dose, 3 times a day, 30 minutes after meals.

Precautions

This medication can put a strain on the liver, so those who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks a day should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. During the use of this medication, serious skin reactions such as sudden and severe rashes or blisters may occur, so if these symptoms occur, stop taking it immediately and consult a specialist. The acetaminophen component in this medication can cause liver damage if taken in excess of 4,000mg per day, so do not take it with other medications containing acetaminophen. The pseudoephedrine component in this medication can rarely cause severe skin adverse reactions, so if symptoms like fever or pustules on the skin occur, stop taking it and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Individuals who have had allergic reactions to this medication or have a history of triggering asthma, infants under 3 months old, people taking certain antidepressants or antipsychotics, and those with severe hypertension or kidney diseases should not take this medication. While taking this medication, do not take cough suppressants or expectorants, other cold medicines, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Children infected with chickenpox or influenza, individuals with certain diseases, those with allergic tendencies, and seniors or pregnant or breastfeeding women with liver, kidney, or heart conditions must consult a specialist before taking this medication. If symptoms such as rashes, itching, vomiting, dizziness, severe respiratory distress, or blisters on the skin with high fever occur while taking this medication, stop taking it immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. This medication should not be administered to children under 2 years of age, and if absolutely necessary, should be prescribed by a doctor. During administration, adhere to the prescribed method and dosage, avoid prolonged use, and refrain from alcohol consumption while taking it. Additionally, this medication may cause drowsiness, so avoid driving or operating machinery. When taking this medication alongside certain antibiotics or other medications, side effects may occur, so follow the instructions of a specialist. Finally, store this medication in a place out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, in a cool and dry place, and do not transfer it to another container.

  • Sudden and severe headache, thunderclap headache, seizures, confusion of consciousness, visual disturbances
  • Significantly decreased urine output, severe swelling with increased blood pressure

Mild side effects

Rash, redness (erythema), itching, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, difficulty urinating, persistent or severe thirst, dizziness, anxiety, tremors, insomnia, high anion gap metabolic acidosis (HAGMA)

Interactions

Drug interactions

Do not take this medication with MAO inhibitors (antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, anti-Parkinson drugs, etc.), cough and expectorant medications, other cold medications, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Do not take this medication within 2 weeks after stopping MAO inhibitors. Diabetes medications, gout medications, arthritis medications, anticoagulants, and steroid medications.

Storage

Store this medication in a tightly sealed container to prevent air or moisture from entering. It is also best to keep it at room temperature between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius, avoiding excessively hot or cold areas.
