Precautions

This medication can put a burden on the liver, so individuals who consume more than three drinks a day must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. If severe rash, blisters, or red spots appear on the skin during treatment, discontinue use immediately and consult healthcare personnel. The maximum daily dosage of this medication is 4,000 mg; caution must be exercised to not exceed this amount, and it should not be taken concurrently with other medications containing the same ingredient. Individuals who are hypersensitive to this medication, have peptic ulcers, severe blood disorders, or severely impaired liver or kidney function, or have weak heart function should not take it. Those on aspirin-induced asthma or specific antidepressants, or barbiturates should also refrain from this medication for safety. Prior to taking, individuals with liver or kidney disease, peptic ulcers, blood disorders, bleeding tendencies, impaired heart function, hypersensitivity, bronchial asthma, elderly patients, or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult healthcare personnel. Particularly, individuals taking medications such as warfarin or flucloxacillin need to exercise caution when taking this medication together. During the use of this medication, if any symptoms of difficulty in breathing, generalized rash, hives, severe nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, skin rash, or bleeding appear, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician. For prolonged use, it is important to undergo regular liver function tests and blood tests to detect any abnormal signs early. Children and the elderly should take the minimum dose and be closely monitored after taking, while avoiding concurrent use with other anti-inflammatory pain relievers. Do not take continuously for more than 10 days for pain or more than 3 days for fever, and if symptoms persist or worsen, consult a healthcare professional. In cases of infections, this medication may mask symptoms, so appropriate antibiotics must be taken as prescribed by a doctor. If overdose occurs, even without symptoms, immediate hospital visit for liver protection treatment is essential. Store in a sealed container at room temperature, and keep out of reach of children; it is safest not to transfer to another container from the original one.
