This medication is used to relieve cough and phlegm and improve asthma symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

Ages 15 and over: Take 2-4 capsules 30 minutes after meals, three times a day.

Child dose

Ages 11 to under 15: Take 2 capsules 30 minutes after meals, three times a day. Ages 8 to under 11: Take 1-2 capsules 30 minutes after meals, three times a day.

Precautions

It is safe not to take this medication for infants under 3 months old. People who have had allergies or hypersensitivity reactions to this medication or its ingredients should avoid taking it. Those taking MAO inhibitors such as antidepressants or antipsychotic medications, or who have stopped such medications within the last 2 weeks, should also not take this medication. During the use of this medication, it is advisable not to take other cough medicines, phlegm medicines, cold medicines, antihistamines, or sedatives. Individuals with a history of allergies or past experiences of drug-related fever, rash, joint pain, itching, etc., should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. It is necessary for individuals with liver, kidney, heart, thyroid diseases, or diabetes, hypertension, elderly individuals, those with weak bodies, or those with high fever to consult a specialist before taking this medication. Pregnant or nursing women must consult with healthcare providers before using this medication. Smokers or individuals with respiratory diseases such as asthma, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema, or those with a cough lasting more than a week or recurrent cough, should also consult a specialist. This medication contains a dye called Yellow No. 5, so individuals allergic to this component should be cautious. If symptoms such as rash, itching, nausea, dizziness, anxiety, trembling, or insomnia occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult healthcare providers. If symptoms do not improve after taking the medication 5-6 times, stop use and consult a specialist. This medication is generally not given to children under 2 years of age, except in special cases, and must be taken under medical supervision when absolutely necessary. It is important to strictly follow the prescribed dosage and administration, especially for children, where supervision by a caregiver is required. For children under 7 years old, using syrup instead of soft capsules is safer. It is advisable not to consume alcohol during the use of this medication.
