How to take

Adult dose

For adults (15 years and older), take 1 tablet three times a day before meals (between meals or after meals). The dosing interval should be more than 4 hours. For the first dose, take the minimum amount and adjust gradually based on the shape and condition of the stool.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with acute abdominal diseases or bowel obstruction, nor by children under 7 years of age. During the use of this medication, do not take antacids or milk within one hour of taking it. Patients with severe abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, patients with poor kidney function, individuals taking other medications, those on sodium-restricted diets, and individuals with a history of rectal bleeding or bowel disorders should consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication. This medication contains a dye called Yellow No. 5, so caution is needed for individuals with allergies or hypersensitivity to this ingredient. If symptoms such as skin rash, redness, itching, severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, or vomiting occur during use, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Additionally, if abdominal discomfort or cramps occur or if constipation does not improve after about a week of use, discontinue use and consult a physician. Dosage and administration must be strictly followed, and supervision by a guardian is required when administering to children. Long-term use of this medication may lead to tolerance or worsening of constipation, so it should not be used continuously for more than a week. If daily laxatives are needed, the cause of constipation should be identified. Keep this medication out of the reach of children, store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and ensure that it is tightly closed to maintain its quality and prevent misuse.
