This medication is used to relieve various symptoms caused by a cold, such as runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

15 years and older: Take 2 capsules three times a day 30 minutes after meals

Child dose

Over 7 years old and under 15 years old: Take 1 capsule three times a day 30 minutes after meals

Precautions

This medication can burden the liver, so people who regularly drink more than three glasses of alcohol daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Also, very rarely, serious skin reactions may occur, so if a skin rash or hypersensitivity reaction develops, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. This medication contains acetaminophen, so care should be taken not to exceed the maximum daily dose of 4,000mg, and it should not be taken with other products containing acetaminophen. Individuals with allergies to this medication or its components, a history of asthma, infants under 3 months of age, and those taking certain antidepressants or antipsychotics should not use this medication. During use, it is safe to avoid taking cough suppressants, other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines together. Infants infected with chickenpox or influenza, children under 15, individuals with allergic conditions or certain diseases, and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult a specialist before use. If any unusual symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, or dizziness occur after taking the medication, stop use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist, especially if there are severe allergic reactions or liver dysfunction symptoms that require immediate medical attention. This medication should not be given to children under 2 years of age, and if necessary, a doctor's consultation should be obtained. Strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration guidelines, avoid prolonged use, refrain from alcohol during use, and since drowsiness may occur, avoid driving or operating machinery.   • Hives, severe swelling (edema), chest tightness, cold sweat, pallor → severe allergic reaction
  • Severe rash, blisters, skin shedding, pain in mucous membranes of the mouth/eyes with high fever → severe skin adverse reaction
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, asthma attacks, abnormal breathing accompanied by cough + fever → respiratory issues
  • Yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), profound lethargy → liver abnormalities (jaundice)

Mild side effects

Rash, redness, itching, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, swelling, difficulty urinating, dry mouth, dizziness, anxiety, tremors, insomnia, high anion gap metabolic acidosis (HAGMA)

Interactions

Drug interactions

Do not take this medication with MAO inhibitors (antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, anti-Parkinson drugs, etc.), cough suppressants (cough and phlegm medications), other cold medicines, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines containing oral medications (oral medications for rhinitis, motion sickness medications, allergy medications). Do not combine with other medications such as barbiturates, tricyclic antidepressants, diabetes medications, gout medications, arthritis medications, anticoagulants, steroids, flucloxacillin, etc.

Food interactions

Do not take this medication with alcohol.

Storage

This medication should be stored in a tightly closed container to prevent air or moisture from entering. The storage temperature should ideally maintain room temperature between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius.
