This medication is used to relieve various pains such as headaches, toothaches, post-extraction pain, sore throat, ear pain, joint pain, neuralgia, low back pain, muscle pain, shoulder stiffness, contusions, fracture pain, sprain pain, menstrual pain, and trauma pain. It is also effective for symptoms of chills and fever, thus providing antipyretic effects. Therefore, it helps improve discomfort caused by pain and fever.
How to take
Adult dose
For ages 15 and older: 1 capsule per dose, up to 3 times a day, to be taken after meals. The interval between doses should be at least 4 hours.
Precautions
This medication may exert a burden on the liver; therefore, individuals who regularly consume more than three drinks daily should consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication. If severe rash, blisters, or itching occurs during use, discontinue immediately and consult a professional. This medication contains acetaminophen, so care must be taken not to exceed the maximum daily dosage, and it should not be taken with other acetaminophen-containing medications. Individuals who are allergic to this medication or its ingredients, have a history of asthma, or infants under 3 months of age should not take this medication. Combining this medication with other antipyretic analgesics, cold medications, or sedatives should be avoided. Children suffering from or suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, individuals with specific allergic tendencies, patients with liver, kidney, or heart disease, the elderly, and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should definitely consult a professional before taking this medication. If abnormal symptoms appear such as rash, vomiting, dizziness, or swelling during use, discontinue immediately and consult a physician or pharmacist; if symptoms do not improve after 5 to 6 doses, further medical attention is necessary. Strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage and frequency, avoid prolonged use, and refrain from alcohol during treatment. When taken with certain medications, the breakdown of acetaminophen may be delayed; therefore, if you are on other medications, be sure to consult a professional.
