This medication is developed for patients who need to take Candesartan Cilexetil and Rosuvastatin together. Candesartan Cilexetil is used in patients with essential hypertension or heart failure with left ventricular systolic dysfunction when additional treatment beyond ACE inhibitors is needed or if they are intolerant to such treatment. Rosuvastatin is used as an adjunct in the treatment of hyperlipidemia, especially when not controlled by diet and exercise, and helps to slow the progression of atherosclerosis and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. Furthermore, it helps reduce the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, and vascular reintervention in patients at high risk for cardiovascular diseases. Therefore, this medication is used to manage cholesterol levels in the blood while controlling blood pressure, improving cardiovascular health.
