Precautions

This medicine should not be taken by individuals who have allergic reactions to this medicine or its ingredients. Additionally, this medicine contains lactose; therefore, individuals with genetic issues such as galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take it. During treatment with this medicine, it should not be taken with levodopa containing medications, as vitamin B6 can reduce the effectiveness of levodopa. Those receiving treatment from a physician, pregnant, or breastfeeding must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine. If symptoms do not improve even after taking this medicine for about a month, consult a doctor or pharmacist. If skin allergy symptoms such as hives, rashes, or itching occur during treatment, stop taking the medicine immediately and consult a professional. If symptoms such as loss of appetite, abdominal bloating, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea occur, stop taking it and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Taking more than 1 gram of vitamin B6 per day in high doses for a short period can cause nerve damage, so caution is advised. This medicine contains vitamin B6, which can cause neuropathy with prolonged use of more than 6 months. Extreme caution is needed if newborns or infants are administered this medicine, as dangerous symptoms such as severe drowsiness, hypotension, and respiratory distress may occur. If an overdose of this medicine occurs, stop taking it immediately and consult a professional. Always adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration, and be cautious as some medications that can inhibit the action of vitamin B6, alcohol, or long-term use of oral contraceptives can lead to vitamin B6 deficiency. Additionally, the medication 5-fluorouracil can inactivate thiamine, so caution is needed when taken together. This medicine should be kept out of reach of children, stored in a tightly closed container away from direct sunlight, in a cool place with low humidity. To maintain quality, do not transfer to another container, and avoid misuse.
