This medication is used for patients who need to take Telmisartan and Rosuvastatin together. Telmisartan is effective in treating essential hypertension and reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases. Especially, it lowers the risks of myocardial infarction, stroke, and cardiovascular disease death in patients over 55 years old who cannot use ACE inhibitors and have a high risk of cardiovascular disease. Rosuvastatin is used as an adjunct therapy for patients with hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia when diet and exercise are insufficient, delaying the progression of atherosclerosis and decreasing the risk of cardiovascular disease. It also helps in treating familial hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia. This medication improves cardiovascular health through blood pressure and cholesterol management.
