Improvement of essential hypertension and dyslipidemia (hypercholesterolemia, etc.)
This medication is used in patients who require simultaneous administration of amlodipine/valsartan combination therapy and atorvastatin. The amlodipine/valsartan combination is effective for patients with essential hypertension who have difficulty controlling blood pressure with amlodipine or valsartan alone. Atorvastatin is used to reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases and is also effective for treating dyslipidemia. In particular, it helps reduce the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, revascularization, and angina, and supports the treatment of various types of hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia. This drug is used to effectively control blood pressure and blood lipid levels to improve heart and vascular health.
This medication is taken orally, one tablet daily with water. It is recommended to take it at the same time every day (e.g., in the morning). The amlodipine/valsartan combination is administered at doses of 5/80 mg, 5/160 mg, and 10/160 mg, with adjustments made based on the individual patient's efficacy and tolerability. Atorvastatin is administered in a range of 10-80 mg once daily, with an initial dose of 10 mg.
