How to take

Adult dose

Patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with telmisartan alone should take this medication once daily with water, regardless of meals. The dosage of each component may be adjusted according to individual needs, and conversion from monotherapy to this medication can be considered when clinically appropriate. - Telmisartan/Hydrochlorothiazide combination 40/12.5 mg can be given to patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with 40 mg of telmisartan.

Child dose

Safety and efficacy of this medication have not been established in children under 18 years of age, and it should not be administered.

Precautions

This medication can cause severe harm to the fetus when used during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, so it should be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. Patients who are allergic to the active ingredients or excipients, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and patients with severe liver or kidney diseases must not take this medication.
