This medication is used for patients who require simultaneous treatment with both Olmesartan Medoxomil and Rosuvastatin. Olmesartan Medoxomil is primarily used for the treatment of essential hypertension and plays a role in controlling blood pressure. Rosuvastatin helps improve lipid levels in patients with hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia, which cannot be managed with diet and exercise alone. Additionally, Rosuvastatin is used as an adjunct therapy in patients with familial hypercholesterolemia and dysbetalipoproteinemia, lowering total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol, thereby slowing the progression of atherosclerosis. Furthermore, it is effective in reducing the risks of stroke, myocardial infarction, and vascular remodelling related to cardiovascular disease in high-risk patients. In summary, this medication is used to simultaneously manage hypertension and hyperlipidemia to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.

There may be interactions with other medications during treatment, so if you are taking other medications, you must inform your doctor or pharmacist. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should not take this medication, and women who may become pregnant should use appropriate contraception.
