How to take

Adult dose

As Cilostazol, the usual adult dose is 200 mg taken orally once a day. This medication should be taken on an empty stomach, avoiding meals.

Precautions

This medication may increase heart rate and poses a risk for angina symptoms, thus it is important to closely monitor for symptoms such as chest pain. Patients with a high risk of bleeding, heart failure, those with drug allergies, pregnant or nursing women should not use this medication. Patients taking anticoagulants or antiplatelet drugs that increase bleeding risk, women during menstruation, patients with heart-related diseases, patients with severely reduced kidney or liver function, and diabetic patients should use it with caution. During the use of this medication, side effects such as headache, diarrhea, palpitation, joint pain, chest discomfort, etc., may occur.
